This Privacy Policy explains how Shark Software LLC ("Shark", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Shark AI Visibility System and the website at ai-visibility.sharksuite.ai (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, used for sign-in (via a one-time link) and to send your reports and notifications.
- Brand and configuration data. The brand names, website URLs, competitors, keywords, locations, topics, and any prompts or preferences you enter so we can run your analysis.
- Billing information. We do not store full card numbers. Payments are handled by Stripe, which collects and processes your payment details. We store a customer and subscription reference and your plan status.
- Usage and report data. The reports, scores, and engagement suggestions we generate for you, plus basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Public content we analyze. To produce your results, the Service reads publicly available web pages and public community content (such as Reddit and Quora threads). This is public information, not data about you.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: generate your AI visibility scores, reports, digests, and suggestions.
- To authenticate you, deliver reports by email, and send service-related notices.
- To process subscriptions, billing, renewals, and proration.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To send occasional product or onboarding messages. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information (subprocessors)
We share information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Shark or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will continue to protect your information under this Policy).
4. Data retention
We keep account and report data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you cancel, we may retain data for a limited period to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion as described below.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and database-level security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction. You can view and update your brand and account data inside the dashboard.
- Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Email preferences. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails. Essential service emails (such as sign-in links and billing notices) are required to use the Service.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, port, restrict, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
7. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:
- Essential cookies. Required to run the site and keep you signed in. These are always on and do not require consent.
- Analytics and advertising cookies. Used to measure traffic and the performance of our ads (for example, through Google and Meta). These are only set after you accept them.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data. For visitors in the EEA and UK, advertising and analytics cookies stay off by default until you consent (we use Google Consent Mode). We honor browser-level opt-out signals where required by law.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
